Is ConnectLettings really free?
Yes — the core of the app is free, with no subscription, no trial period and no card required. Unlimited properties and tenancies, ConnectListing adverts, enquiries and viewings, the move-in and move-out steps, building tenancy agreements and inventories, rent tracking, repairs, compliance reminders and the Letti assistant all cost nothing. A small number of extras are charged individually — including sending an inventory report to your tenant and e-signing — and you only pay when you use one.
Which portals can I list on?
ConnectListing, which is free and goes live straight away, and Zoopla, which is £20 per listing. You write the description once — or have one drafted for you — add your photos, preview the listing and publish. Rightmove is not available yet.
Does ConnectLettings cover the Renters' Rights Act 2025?
Yes, in the places it changes your day-to-day work. Tenancies are periodic with no fixed end date, possession is recorded against Section 8 grounds only, and there is a place to record your Private Rented Sector Database and ombudsman registration. We update the app as the rest of the Act is brought in.
Is my data safe?
Your data is stored in Google Cloud’s London region. Some processing, such as reading an uploaded certificate, runs in Google’s US region. We are registered with the ICO, we do not sell your data or your tenants’ data, and we share it only with the providers needed for a service you have asked for, such as the referencing provider or the portal you publish to.
Am I locked in?
No. There is no contract and no notice period, because there is no subscription to cancel. Your signed agreement, your inventory reports and the documents shared with a tenancy can be downloaded as PDFs, and you can stop using the app whenever you like.
How do I get help?
Email support@connectlettings.com or use the contact form, and Letti can answer most "where do I..." questions in the app immediately. If something has gone wrong and you want it treated formally, use the complaints process, which carries defined response times.
